to your family.

Estate Planning

Do you need a review of your Estate Plan? We would be pleased to help you and your family with your estate planning needs, including:

  • Wills
  • Trusts
  • Living Wills
  • Powers of Attorney

Getting Started

Please call or send us an email and we will provide one of our estate plan questionnaires for you. If you complete and send it to us, we will review your status, consult with you by phone, suggest what you need and tell you how much it will cost. You then decide whether you wish us to proceed on your behalf. Until you decide to proceed, there is no cost or obligation!

When you call or email us, let us know if you are married or single—with or without children, and we will get a questionnaire to you ASAP!

A good estate plan is one of the best things you can do to provide peace of mind to your family in the event of death or disability. Don't make things worse by failing to adequately plan for every eventuality. Don't wait—contact us now!

Everyone Has an Estate Worth Planning

Everyone should have a Will or Trust, unless you want the state to dictate the distribution of your hard earned assets. If you have a potential Estate Tax issue, good planning is even more essential.

Also, even though you may be perfectly healthy you need to plan for the possibility of temporary or permanent incapacity (that is the inability to manage your own affairs), by appointing someone to act as your agent under:

  • A General Power of Attorney for money and property matters; and
  • A Health Care Power of Attorney for health care matters.

Basic planning should also consider use of a Living Will directive for the benefit of family and loved ones to avoid undue heartache, hardship and expense should your incapacity become a terminal condition.

If you have a  Qualified Retirement Plan (a QRP) you need to be sure to have properly designated your beneficiaries.

Other planning devices applicable to particular issues are available:

  • Beneficiary Deeds (to transfer real property on owner's death)
  • Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts
  • Charitable Trusts
